Evidence-Based Parenting in Intercollegiate Athletics

The Utah State University Families in Sport Lab, in conjunction with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), conducted pilot research with NCAA administrators, coaches, and student-athletes to design and implement an evidence-based education program for parents in the context of intercollegiate athletics. This proprietary program is currently being revised based on study results and feedback from campus-level administrators, NCAA delegates, and the scientific community.

Enhance.Encourage.Inspire Campaign

The Utah State University Families in Sport Lab is launching its Enhance.Encourage.Inspire Campaign. Beginning in Fall 2014, a series of three public service announcements will be airing at Utah State, in Salt Lake City, and as part of our parent education programs to make parents aware of how their sideline behaviors impact their children.
